The Zimin Foundation has sponsored various scholarships, educational programmes and universities since its establishment.
- In 2019 the Foundation provided a grant to the European University Foundation, in St Petersburg, Russia.
- In 2016 the Foundation provided scholarships for students specializing in Russian literature at Tartu University (Estonia) (for three academic years).
- In 2012 the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo established a Zimin chair for entrepreneurial leadership with financial support from the Zimin Foundation (Moscow, Russia).
