The Enlightener’s special award PolitProsvet announced its long list for 2024 earlier, on June 20. The Enlightener Awards will publish their short lists before September 30.

‍Since its launch in 2008 by Dmitry Zimin, the founder and honorary president of VimpelCom, and by the Dynasty Foundation, a non-profit organization, the Enlightener Prize awards annually to the best non-fiction books in the Russian language. The jury board of the Enlightener.Translation rewards the best nonfiction books translated into Russian, while the jury of the special PolitProsvet award selects the best book dedicated to the current social and political process.
